Wedding Photography
May 18, 2012
I got an opportunity to do something totally different for a change… My sister’s friend got married a week ago, and I got asked to do the wedding photography. So they flew me all the way to Michigan, USA! Here are a few pictures that I took of the happy couple and the wedding party:
This was a one-off thing. Even though it was a good experience, wedding photography is quite far from what I am looking to do career-wise. So unfortunately, I don’t think I will be taking on any more gigs like this.
Congratulations to the happy couple again!
Graduation Portraiture
June 30, 2011
I was asked to take graduation portraits for quite a few people this year. It was interesting to work on something a bit more commercial and try to achieve something fitting for each one of my clients. Here is a selection of photos I took:
Phew, that was a lot of photos – but honestly just a small selection of what I took and edited…

Boredom + urge to photograph + lack of models = A bunch of self portraits.
Having to use self timer definitely makes things a bit more complicated, but I have really felt like taking some photographs recently. I also got signed by a modeling agency, so I can always benefit from a few extra shots of myself.
For some reason I feel a bit silly posting these (not as silly as taking some of these), but then again I should learn to get used to exposing my work and putting myself out there. So here it goes…
Skin Type
April 15, 2010
I was going through my raw photography and came across this close up shot I had taken of myself. I decided to play with it a bit and even add some typography (very little, though), since after all, this should be a blog mainly about my graphic design work. I am still more comfortable with images alone, but perhaps some day typography will even overcome my love for images…
Carried Away
April 7, 2010
I was having so much fun editing my newly taken photos in Photoshop, that I decided to put my skills into test and see if I could create a picture of a model that does not exist. So I started combining different pictures I had taken in the past to come up with a unique new look. Considering how well this turned out, I might not even need models in the future…

I’m back home again, so I could not miss out on the opportunity to do some photography. Once again I realised, that fashion and beauty photography are definitely one of my favourite things to do, and especially after all that typography, it’s nice to work with imagery alone.
So these were just for fun, spending time with my sisters and taking a few shots, and then spent hours working on the images in Photoshop. I know for sure that my sisters would not approve with all the looks that I created for them! But I wanted to try something different for a change… The last one is definitely my favourite.

Back Home
December 22, 2009
I am back home for Christmas, so I’ve had some time off from uni work. Well actually, I am supposed to be working on a magazine spread, but I’ve been doing some photography and playing around with some images instead.
Just for fun as usual, and since I’m back home it’s easy to have my sister model for me.
